RIHANNA'S SECRET TO SUCCESS: Rihanna basically explained the Law of Assumption in her 2017 Barbados speech without even knowing it

Rihanna explained the Law of Assumption in her 2017 Barbados speech without even knowing it.

On November 30, 2017, during Barbados' Independence Day, global icon and visionary entrepreneur Rihanna stood before a gathered crowd in her hometown of Bridgetown. The government was officially renaming Westbury New Road, the very street where she grew up - to Rihanna Drive. Standing at a podium, looking back at her modest beginnings from an isolated island, she shared an unfiltered confession of how she achieved the impossible.

She did not attribute her miraculous rise to luck, industry connections, family status, or external advantages. Instead, she shared the exact mindset that drove her transformation from a local girl on a small Caribbean island to a global superstar:

"I know... I know that saying 'believe in your dreams' it sounds cliché, but I guarantee you, the only thing that got me here was believing in my dream. I never doubted it. I didn't know how it was going to happen. I knew I was hidden away on this little rock, Barbados, and how would anybody find me? But I always knew it would happen.I always focused on the result. And that kind of faith... it really was just faith. That childlike faith. And even now, when I get a little bit discouraged or doubtful, it's the thing that I go back to: having faith in God like that, even as a child. And I want to encourage not just the people of Westbury New Road and Westbury community, but all of the people in Barbados, all the young women and young men who have dreams and think that the world is up against them - it is possible. So just keep believing." - RIHANNA at Barbados, 2017

Without referencing ancient texts, modern psychology, or spiritual treatises, Rihanna was describing, in her own raw words, the fundamental law of creation: The Law of Assumption. She demonstrated that when you fix your attention entirely on the end result and hold an unwavering conviction, external obstacles and physical distance cease to matter.

The Geometry of Impossibility: From Barbados to the World

To understand the sheer magnitude of her achievement, consider the physical reality of where she began.

Barbados is a tiny, isolated island nation nestled as the easternmost point of the Caribbean Sea, resting far out in the vast waters of the Lesser Antilles. Its total land area spans a mere 430 square kilometers (166 square miles). At its widest point, the entire country stretches just 34 kilometers long and 23 kilometers wide. The entire sovereign nation of Barbados could fit comfortably inside the geographical boundaries of a single metropolitan city like London or New York.

Barbados is undeniably a place of breathtaking landscapes. But when it comes to global entertainment, international media, or massive commercial opportunity, it is not New York City, London, or Mumbai. It is a distant speck on the global map, separated by thousands of miles of ocean from the traditional epicenters of industry.

Rihanna reflected on this very truth. She shared how, as a young girl growing up on what she called "this little rock," she was completely hidden away. Reason, logic, and the physical senses would have looked at that little girl on that tiny island and pronounced a verdict of impossibility. The sensory world would have argued:

"How could anyone ever find you here? How could a girl from this isolated piece of land ever reach the absolute summit of global culture?"

Yet, she refused to take counsel from her physical senses. She refused to accept the limitations of her environment.

"All Things Are Possible to Him Who Believes"

In his legendary lectures, Neville Goddard quoted scripture to remind us of the supreme truth governing all human experience: "All things are possible to him who believes" ['I AM'].

Possibility is not dictated by your location, your background, your bank balance, or your present circumstances. The outer world is merely a shadow - a reflection of consciousness. When you fix your inner vision upon the end result, when you occupy the feeling of the dream already fulfilled, the entire universe, with all its infinite ways and means, must move to bring your inner state into physical manifestation.

This truth that your inner world creates your outer world is not just an abstract idea found in old books or seen only in famous celebrities. It is a living law that operates in the lives of everyday people every single day.

Every Dream is Possible!

In a recent life-coaching session with an individual from India, this exact principle was on full display. This person came from a deeply humble background - in every conceivable sense of the word.

In their environment, no one expected much. Society told them to get a simple degree, find a routine job, and live a quiet, ordinary life just like everyone else. In fact, this person was the first and only member of their entire family to ever hold a passport or travel outside the country.

Yet, from early childhood, they carried a dream. It wasn't a practical or "safe" dream. It was a pure, wonderful vision: they wanted to work in Space(Domain) and explore the stars.

A child’s dream is completely pure. A child does not worry about how hard things are, how much money they have, or what is logically possible. They simply believe.

Fast forward to the present day: that same individual from an environment with no special privileges or precedents has worked as an intern at NASA. They are currently living and thriving in a country where millions of people only dream of settling.

Who in the physical world could have ever predicted that a childhood dream, cradled in silence, would come true like this? There were no special privileges to make it happen. There was only one thing: a deep, unshakable belief in the dream.

When listening to that story, it was impossible not to see Rihanna in that person. It was the exact same principle at work that same childlike faith that bridges the vast gulf between a humble origin and a magnificent destiny.

Why Humanity Kills Its Dreams

Sadly, most of humanity has buried its own dreams. When people reflect on the big dreams they had when they were young, they usually laugh dismissively and say, "Oh, I know how silly I was back then to dream such foolish things."

But the dream was never foolish! What made them call it "foolish" was their limited understanding of what is possible. They let the outside world convince them that their vision was a delusion, surrendering their creative power to the altar of mediocrity.

When people today are asked what they truly desire - wealth, freedom, or purpose and then asked: "Do you honestly believe, deep down, that you can have it?" they hesitate. They say, "Well... I'm not really sure. It's hard to say."

To them, their own dream feels like a stranger. It feels unnatural and far away.

Consider nature: Every giant tree starts with a tiny seed. That seed holds a quiet promise and a full possibility of growing into something great. The seed does not doubt itself; it simply grows.

Unless you truly believe in the possibility of your dream, it will never happen. The outside world cannot give you what you do not first feel inside yourself.

Right now, just like Rihanna, you might feel like you are living on your own "little rock." You might be surrounded by a limited environment, with no obvious way out and no clear path to your goals. But ask yourself: can you believe in the possibility of your dream?

If you can hold that belief in your mind, your dream will eventually present itself right in front of you as your physical reality.

The very first step is the seed. It is the simple hope, the positive image, and the willingness to accept that your dream is possible.

No dream is ever too big. No dream is ever too foolish. It is only our limited understanding of how things work that makes a dream seem impossible.

If I had met that person from India when they were just a child, and they told me they wanted to work at NASA, I might have dismissed it as just a cute, childish idea - just like most people would.

To the world, this is called "childlike faith." But to Neville Goddard, it was the power of assumption and positive expectation.

This is precisely what every parent ought to do: nurture that big, wonderful dream and keep it alive in the minds of their children. That is the single most valuable gift a parent can offer. But sadly, most parents do the exact opposite. They drag the child back to "reality" - a reality built entirely on the parents' own limited beliefs, not the child's infinite potential.

The Real First Step Is Always Mental

In the ancient story of the Odyssey, there is a famous concept: a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. But that first step is never physical - it is mental. The real first step is deciding to believe that your goal is possible.

Suppose you met an average young girl living on a small, quiet island- say, an indigenous girl from the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. And suppose she looked at you with complete sincerity and said, "One day, I am going to be the biggest superstar on this entire planet!"

Would you believe her?

Most people would smile, adore the cuteness and innocence of the child, but completely dismiss the actual possibility of the dream. Imagine looking back 10 or 15 years later, and seeing that exact same girl standing as a global pop star, famous in every corner of the earth.

That girl was Rihanna.

Stop Looking for Techniques: The Universal Principle

Rihanna laid out her exact mindset: focus on the end result. She did not waste her energy worrying about the obstacles, the distance, or the complicated logistics of how she would get there. When self-doubt or discouragement tried to creep in, she simply returned to that pure, "childlike faith."

Nowadays, everyone is searching for quick techniques - a technique to stop overthinking, a technique to fix their lives. But manifestation is not a set of complicated tricks. It is the simple, profound realization of an ancient truth: As within, so without. The entire universe is mental.

  • For Relationships: You must first believe that a loving relationship is genuinely possible for you before you attempt to manifest it.

  • For Wealth: Stop focusing on your present bank balance or financial strain. Assume the feeling of abundance now, and believe in the possibility of your prosperity.

  • For Health: Stop staring at the symptoms of the body. Step into the consciousness of wholeness and vital energy.

  • For Career & Dreams: Stop asking how or when your big break will come. Focus entirely on the end result - the feeling of accomplishment—and let the Law handle the rest.

What other people think is possible or impossible is none of your concern. Let them limit their own lives through their senses and doubts. Turn inward, step into the end, claim it as your present reality, and walk in the absolute conviction that it is already done.
